Summer bridal shows are fast approaching as the wedding season of 2017 continues to fly by at an alarming pace for brides, grooms, vendors, venues, and yes, even wedding publications.
Here at Mosaic Bride Magazine, we are into the bridal show aspect of our passionate business in a big way. The opportunities that these shows provide us with is indispensable. We learn first hand from the brides that we meet what their styles, colors, aspirations, and of course challenges are. Some of what we publish reflects this, and others we take as inspiration to be their advocates.
So what is happening mid-year in the Bridal Show season? A lot. We’ve been in roughly 10 shows to date and we’ve seen the shows draw bigger and more educated couples. These couples have a much better idea of what they want, and more importantly, how their going to achieve this. Instagram, Pinterest, and still Facebook have digitally continued to provide tips, idea’s and of course wish I could do’s.
We encourage everyone who is newly engaged to invest the time and energy in attending a local bridal show. Many are coming up that will provide easy money saving ideas, allow you to compare offerings from wedding professionals in one setting, and more importantly, allow you as the consumer of wedding services to be more educated and vested in your hires for a day that most of you will only do once – no due-overs is the goal!
Coming up are a few of the shows we’re in that we highly recommend you consider attending. Money saving admission links are contained with the overviews that we provide on our Events page.
May 21st @ Wilson Creek Winery, Kiss The Bride
June 11th @ OC Fair Events Center, Bride World
July 22nd & 23rd @LA Convention Center, Bride World
July 30th @ Ontario Convention Center, Bride World
August 6th @ Pala Casino, Kiss The Bride
Each of these shows will feature live fashion shows, in some cases, multiple shows that really give brides the opportunity to see what is hot now, and more importantly, what is trending towards hot in the coming seasons. Toss in the usual florists, wedding venues, photo booths, photographers, disc jockeys, bridal gowns, tuxedos, entertainers, bridal beauty tips, custom invitations, vintage decor, and romantic honeymoons; and you have every service or product your wedding & reception would need. Did anyone say One-Stop Shopping!
Mosaic Bride continually updates our lists of local bridal shows on the Events page, so if any of these don’t perk the interest, check back with up periodically, and we’ll more than likely have new ones.
See you at the shows!
